This Policy covers IKIGX, including IKIGX Studio, IKIGX Help, and related websites and communications.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to personal information we process about visitors, account holders, billing contacts, and users of connected third-party integrations. It does not apply to third-party websites or platforms that we do not control (for example, social networks you choose to connect); those services have their own privacy practices.

3. Categories of personal information we collect

• Identity and account data: name, email address, password hashes or authentication provider IDs, profile settings, organization membership.
• Product data — Studio: connected social account identifiers and tokens you authorize, drafts, media, captions, schedules, posting logs, and workspace settings.
• Billing data: plan, subscription status, invoices, limited payment metadata. Card numbers are processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card PAN data.
• Communications: support messages, email correspondence, and survey responses.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP, referring URLs, log files, diagnostic data, and identifiers used for security and abuse prevention.
• Cookies and similar technologies: as described in our Cookie Policy.

4. How we collect information

• Directly from you (registration, forms, uploads, support).
• Automatically through use of the Services (logs, cookies, analytics).
• From third parties you connect (for example, OAuth providers or social platforms) subject to your authorizations and their policies.
• From payment processors regarding transaction status.

5. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• provide, maintain, and improve the Services;
• authenticate users and secure accounts;
• process subscriptions and prevent fraud;
• deliver AI-assisted features you request (analysis, drafts, suggestions);
• send transactional notices (security, billing, product changes);
• send marketing communications where permitted (you may opt out);
• comply with law and enforce our Terms; and
• analyze aggregated usage to improve reliability and product design.

6. Legal bases (EEA / UK / Switzerland)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:

• Contract — to provide the Services you request;
• Legitimate interests — security, product improvement, limited analytics, and B2B communications, balanced against your rights;
• Consent — where required (for example, certain cookies or marketing);
• Legal obligation — tax, accounting, and lawful requests.

You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.

7. How we share information

We do not sell personal information for money. We may share information with:

• Service providers / processors who assist hosting, authentication, databases, email delivery, payments, analytics, error monitoring, and AI inference, under contractual confidentiality and data-processing terms;
• Third-party platforms you connect (social networks) as needed to perform the integration you authorize;
• Professional advisors (legal, accounting) under confidentiality;
• Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security;
• Successors in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.

8. International transfers

We are based in the United States and process information in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA/UK/Switzerland to countries without an adequacy decision, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and UK addenda where applicable), plus supplementary measures as needed.

9. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When you delete an account, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate security and fraud-prevention purposes (for example, limited logs). Backups are cycled on a rolling schedule.

10. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you use the Services at your own risk regarding residual security risk.

11. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined by California law. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country of residence.

12. Children's privacy

The Services are not directed to individuals under 18 (or 16 where required by local law for information-society services). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

13. Automated processing and AI

Some features process your inputs through automated systems, including third-party AI models, to generate insights or draft content. These features are tools to assist you; they are not used to make legal or similarly significant decisions about you without human involvement in a way that produces legal effects solely by automated means. Do not submit sensitive personal data to AI features unless necessary for the feature you intentionally use.

We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. Where required, we request consent for non-essential cookies.

15. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means when required by law.
